try different YOga styles and teachers

Take a look at our list of the different styles of yoga we offer and see what looks appealing to you. Beginners are welcome to all classes. Please let the instructor know you are new and they will help you with variations to suit your needs. 

no need to spend a ton of money on gear

A mat is good to have but you can just show up and use ours. Water is always a good idea, but we have you covered there too. Some students bring a towel for the more energetic classes. Always free to bring an attitude of gratitude and a willingness to honor your body and trust yourself!

a consistent practice will provide faster results

Yoga is amazing. A minimum of one hour a week is suggested to begin experience the benefits of the practice. If you can do more than that, you will experience more benefits and faster results.

we understand that HOt yoga is not for everyone-

The studio is 68 degrees room temp. and you will generate some internal heat in most classes, but this is definitely not a "HOT" yoga studio.

you do not need to be flexible to do yoga

You are a perfect candidate for yoga. Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis in order to take tennis lessons. Come as you are and you will find that yoga practice will help you become more flexible.

Eat light and drink more water

It is recommended that you eat very little 2 hours before class. Fruits, vegetables, and high protein snacks are great options. Get hydrated and plan meals ahead if that means you have a better chance of making it to class with more energy to enjoy it..

Wear comfortable clothing and layers for added comfort

The studio is not heated.. Breathable and stretchable fabrics are ideal. Please, NO SHOES on the studio floor – We suggest wearing shoes that are easy to slip on and off.

Be kind to yourself

Your practice will never be perfect nor was it meant to be. Let your practice be unique, discovering what YOU CAN DO. Honor wherever you are on a given day. Look for reasons to show up instead of give up on your yoga journey + practice.

Show up 10 minutes early to your first class

. We can show you around the studio, answer any questions you may have, and take time to set up your mat and settle in before class.

There is a secure place for your stuff

We have cubbies available to store your belongings in the front of the studio and in the back room. If you would feel more comfortable bringing your purse or wallet into the studio, please feel free to do so. We request that you turn your cell phone off UPON ENTERING THE STUDIO–

Honor class start and stop times

Coming late and leaving during class is distracting to others but we get it, it happens...please don’t make it a habit:) Enter quietly and let the instructor help you get set up if needed. If an emergency requires you to leave, please let the instructor know if you can or just exit quietly.

Practice Solitude upon entering the studio

Quieting your mind before class will support the space that created for healing and all that enter. This is your chance to escape from the daily demands and distractions of life. Next stop, Your relaxation station!

Props for Modifications and added Comfort

We have straps, blocks, bolsters and blankets, essential oils diffused and applied (depending on your instructor) for you to use during your practice. Please feel free to bring your own fun stuff to share with the class. :)

Michelle’e Workshop in the Healing Benefits of Mindfulness will help you get through the busyness of the Holiday Season Approaching. It will be a great guide to calming the mind helping the body & nourishing the spirit. Michelle will also give you a Reiki Session in this workshop.
